Classification N° : C02F 1/50 Registrant & Inventor: Mr. Hervé GALLION (owner) The Patent is actually much broader than just the CARTIS® powder, as “it concerns a product for the bactericidal treatment of fluids, characterized in that it consists almost exclusively of a support with inner and outer specific surface, and of a metal covering said surface in a thin layer bound by covalent bounds obtained in a cold plasma reactor”. This allows research on all types of bounds between any supports and equally any metal such as bounding ceramics and gold or copper, for instance, which have very specific applications. The original technological Process has been developed with the CNRS (the French National Center for Scientific Research). . The powder is produced with Plasma reactors, duly modified to accommodate the requirements of this specific application. The powder manufacturing know-how is an important key factor of the overall process.
